  R-173

is the most modern tank radio in my museum. Issued from 1987 on to the NVA, it is built with the most modern parts.
It is used to transmit voice and encrypted analogue und digital signals.
It is built to stand extreme mechanical and temperature conditions and is still built nowadays.
