The modern portable radio set
PRC-2200(SA)
was built by Tadiran © in Israel, and exported in many countries all over the world.
The transceiver itself is called RT-2001(SA).
The whole HF-range from 1.6 to 30 MHz is covered in 100 Hz steps.
One frequency or two different frequencies can be used to transmit and/or receive.
Two stored frequency bundles can be used for "automatic
connection".
Some features;
Programming by keyboard or externally;
Awitchable to "receive only";
Selektive call can be single or general call;
Cw can be programmed;
Preset- channels and loudness of the handset are controlled at the handset;
Short- time transmissions (telegrams) or data can be transmitted, also by
using an external modem.
