  Stornophone 800

is a pocket radio, built for

  • 8m (68 .. 88 MHz) ,
  • 2m (146 .. 174 MHz) , and
  • 70 cm (420 .. 470 MHz)

    It was issued in 1973.

    Loudspeaker and microfone can be ordered built in or on a cable. Up to 12 channels can be orded.

    The modular chassis allows easy maintenance of all parts. (see picture gallery). The modules consist of miniature thick film circuits, all components are mounted on a ceramic substrate.

    The radio was supposed to be a portable with the possibilities of a mobile. It was enhanced and built until the early 80s.

    The radio in the collection is a 2-channel 2m- handy portable.
