  Teleport VII

is a UHF portable to connect portable, mobile and fixed startions. It is used for BOS- purposes
( Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben ) i.e. by authorities. It is built following the "Technical Rules FUG-10" and often also called "FUG 10".
 
A lot of accessories provide a very widespread use.
It is built in two versions: for 160 MHz and 80 MHz; the radio here is the 160 MHz version in housing D1.
 
It comes in three different housings:

  • Housing K (kurz):
      a small battery is attached to the bottom of the radio.
  • Housing L: (Lang):
      a larger battery is attached to the bottom of the radio.
  • Housing D1 (thick):
      the battery is attached to the back of the radio.
