The Englisch Receiver B 46 is a real Boatanchor.
It is part of the submarine transceiver
"Standard Radio 5 AH", consisting of
Transmitter Unit

Modulator Unit
Aerial Tuning Unit
where only the receiver has a number.
It was changed from DC to 220V AC. Frequency is shown on a disk. Turning from one end of a band to the other
needs four turns of the disk- and the same point of the disk appears four times before your eyes.
The mechanical solution of this "Bandspread" is a true masterpiece.
